Before we start our learning this week in school, we are going to be making some salt dough stars. If you would like too make your own salt dough stars at home, there is a recipe linked below. Take some pictures if you can! Alternatively, watch the video:
This week we will be refreshing some of the sounds that we already know. We have put some Education City activities up that you can use to practice - remember to have a look!
This week in Literacy we will be writing instructions about how to make salt dough stars. Can you draw and label some pictures showing what you did? What sounds can you hear in each word? Can you write them?
This week in Maths we will be looking at 'one less'. Have a look at the 'less than' monkey PowerPoint linked below, and then see if you can have a go at the 'less than' worksheet. Can you demonstrate finding 'one less' with objects from around your house?
We will be phoning at some point this week to check how you're getting on. Remember, you can also email us any work that you'd like us to see!
