It's Wonderful Wednesday!
We've made it to half-way through another week of home learning - a big WELL DONE to all of you! Can you tell your grown-up one thing that you have learnt so far this week?
Don't forget to email us pictures of your learning! Our class email is: email@example.com
We have chosen to start our day with some Just Dance – Prince Ali song from Aladdin. Have fun!
Don't forget to join in with your phonics lessons today! Access them at this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ
What sounds have you learnt so far this week? Can you think of a word that begins with each of them?
This week we have been learning about the Very Hungry Caterpillar and yesterday we learnt about how the caterpillar grows from an egg to a butterfly. Watch the clip below to refresh your mind.
Today we would like you to write sentences to describe each part of the butterfly life cycle. Your sentences might be like this:
The caterpillar eats a leaf. OR The caterpillar eats a juicy green leaf.
For our maths today we are going to be counting to 20. Last week, in class we learnt how to recognise and write numbers to 20. To refresh our brains; watch the clip below to count to 20.
Today we are going to carefully count amounts to 20 and find missing numbers. First watch this clip below to see today’s learning: https://vimeo.com/528917472
Now we want you to use cubes, counters, or whatever you have at home, to count amounts to 20. Use the activity sheet below to help.
Don't forget that Joe Wicks' will be leading a brand new PE lesson on his YouTube channel today! Access the workout at 9am by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ
