Remember to practise your sounds daily. RWI will be holding daily virtual lessons for children to practise their sounds:

Set 2 sounds at 10:00am or 1:00pm

Set 3 sounds at 10:30am or 1:30pm

I have attached a SPaG mat below for you to complete.

Here is a link to practise your spellings, we are on the orange bird box today.

This week we are learning about the story of a meerkat called Sunny. The book is called Meerkat Mail, watch it here by clicking on this link

Today’s task is to find out where the Kalahari Desert is. What other deserts can you find on a map? What animals live in a desert? Can you make a fact file about this? This might be a booklet or a page of information.

For our maths warm up let’s test those brains with some adding:

Our main learning for today is reading numbers to 100, click on the Word document below, blue group you have a link as well.

Then put this to the test by playing this game:

Blue group you have this one to play:

Remember to practise your times tables with Times Tables Rock Stars.

This week we have been reading the story of Tom Crean’s rabbit.

Last week we imagined we were one of the crew on the ship. I want you this week to write a letter to me describing what it is like to arrive in Antarctica. I want to see those super adjectives (describing words) you came up with on Monday! Remember...

  • Capital letters
  • Full stops
  • Finger spaces
  • Use ‘and’ to make your sentences longer
  • Use your lead ins for your letters
