inkpen@greenfield.walsall.sch.uk

First let's take a look at some of the wonderful work that you have been sending us.

Now it's time for us to wake up and shake up.

This morning we will warm up with the sticky kids.

Literacy

Our first task for today is to listen to our story of the week.

In our story we met Jack and Jill. Today we are going to learn the nursery rhyme about Jack and Jill.

Phonics

This week we have introduced the picture "girl" and the sound "g"

We have made sound soup with things beginning with "g"

Our task today is to listen to and join in with items starting "g"

Can you find any of the items in your house or garden?

Maths

In our story and nursery rhyme, Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch something, can you tell your grown up what they went to fetch? That's right they fetched a pail or bucket of water.

Out task today is to learn all about how much water something can hold. This has a special name, it is called "capacity", we are going to learn all about capacity with Miss Molnar. Click here to start our learning.

Writing / Mark making Activity

Jack and Jill fetched a pail of water in out nursery rhyme.

Your task today is to go outside with a cup of water and a paint brush if you have one (if you don't have a paint brush you can use a stick).

Dip your brush or stick into the water and use it to make marks / write "Jack" and "Jill".

Don't forget to send us a picture of what you have written, we love to see your fabulous work. smiley
