There is also “Storytime with Nick” and some poems that your child can learn and perform.

Handwriting:

Today we are practising the letter ‘Cc’. Remember to curl around the caterpillar. Make sure your capital ‘C’ is bigger than your little ‘c’.

Literacy

Today we are going to read the story of “The boy who cried wolf”. Click on this link to read along with this story.

Today I would like you to write 2 colourful sentences using the colourful picture prompts. Remember to make your sentence, say your sentence and then write your sentence. Did you use capital letters? Finger spaces? Full stops?  Always reads your sentences back to ensure they make sense.

Maths

All groups:

Today we are going to take away by using a number line. First read the maths story. Find the first number on the number line. Hoe many jumps back are you doing? Jump carefully. What number did you land on?

Anti-bullying week

Today we are going to talk about what it is to be a good friend to others. What do you do to be a good friend? Note these ideas down. Can you think of one of your friends? What do they do to be a good friend to you? How do we feel when our friends are kind towards us? Today I want you to draw pictures of you being a good friend and write sentences starting with ‘A good friend is…’
