For today’s learning we have…
RWI
Remember to practise your sounds daily. RWI will be holding daily virtual lessons for children to practise their sounds:
Click on the link for Set 1 sounds.
There is also “Storytime with Nick” and some poems that your child can learn and perform.
Handwriting:
Today we are practising the letter ‘y’. Remember lead in, down, round the umbrella, down for the puddle.
Literacy
Today we are going to answer comprehension questions about our story of the Wounded Wolf. Look at the pictures carefully. Ask a grown up to read the questions to you. Where there are blue answers, you need to read these for yourself and circle the one you think is right.
Maths
All groups:
Now today we are going to be learning about ordinal numbers. When you have a race someone doesn’t come 1, they comes 1st, they don’t come 2, they come 2nd, etc… Today I want you to read the question carefully, count carefully and colour the right picture in.
PSHE
Today we are going to talk about feeling worried. Worry is when we think unhelpful things about a situation before it has happened. Go through the power point, stopping for partner talk with your grown up.
Today I want you to identify times they feel worried and ways they can cope with their worries.
