Click on the link for Set 1 sounds.

There is also “Storytime with Nick” and some poems that your child can learn and perform.

Handwriting:

Today we are practising the letter r. Remember lead in, stop, down the robot, back up, over his arm.

Literacy

Today we are going to use the information we learnt about wild cats to write sentences. \first look at the picture:

  1. Who is in the picture?
  2. What are they doing?
  3. To what?

Cut out the pictures to create your sentence, say your sentence, what little words do you need to add? Now write your sentence, remember capital letters and full stops.

Maths

G/Y/R/O groups:

Yesterday we learnt about take away by crossing out amounts. Today we are going to be taking away by finding the number on the number line and count back. Remember to jump carefully.

Blue group:

This week we have been counting carefully. Today I want you to go round the house and count 1 of something, 2 of something else, 3 of something and so on…

If you have a grown up or older sibling to help you they could say the number to you and you could count. Peas are great to count.

PSHE

This week we are learning about our feelings and how to manage them. Look at the cards, what do you think is a good idea to do when you feel angry? Fill in the worksheet by writing sentences or drawing pictures.
