Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Today's sound is the 'oa' sound. Watch the video below to take part in your phonics learning today!

Phonics set 3 - oa sound

Today's sound is oa - goat in a boat 🐐 There are a few different ways to make the oa sound so just try your best when using this sound in your writing or ask...

Maths: Greater than, less than or equal to

Look at the numbers being compared, which one has the most tens? This one is the largest. If the tens digit is the same then look at the ones. Which one has the most ones? This number will be the largest.

This also works the other way round. If you look at which one has the least tens, this is the smallest (it is less than the other number). Again, If the tens digit is the same look at the ones and see which one has the least ones, this will be the smallest number.

We use the symbol > to say more than and < to say less than.

21 < 56 (21 is less than 56)
85 > 49 (85 is more than 49)

Have a go at the worksheet below.

Today we are going to use the learning from yesterday to help us answer some questions about a non-fiction text.
