Maths
ROY - Today you will be learning to make equal groups. Equal groups means there is the same amount in each group.

Grammar
BH - Today you will be learning to use past tense verbs. Follow the instructions from the workbook and get an adult to check your answers.
Geography
Today you will be learning about weathering. There are two types of weathering; mechanical weathering and chemical weathering. Read through the PowerPoint and watch the linked videos. After that, answer the questions about weathering.
Tuesday
Maths
Today you will be learning to divide by 2. When you divide, it means sharing the amount into 2 groups. You can use arrays to show this. Attached is your worksheet and the answers so you can mark your work.
Literacy
This week we will be writing a playscript. Today, you will be learning the features of a playscript. Work thrrough the PowerPoint and then try to identify the features of a playscript on the worksheet.
History
Today, you will begin learning about the Anglo-Saxons. Work through the PowerPoint about the Anglo-Saxons and then organise the events from this era on the timeline using the dates shown.
Wednesday
Reading
Today, I would like you to have a go at a reading activity. You will be reading the playscript for 'Oliver Twist'. Then, work your way through the PowerPoint and complete the questions.
Maths
Today you will be learning to divide by 5. Dividing is the same as sharing. Use arrays to share into the groups given or share the whole amount into groups of a given number and then record how many groups there are.
Literacy
Today you need to sequence the events to Little Red Riding Hood as this is the story we are writing a playscript for. First read through the story on the PowerPoint. I have attached an example of a playscript that I wrote for the story that you can have a look at. Then you need to start your plan which will help you when writing your playscript. This will be finished tomorrow.
Thursday
Reading
Today you will be reading a non-fiction text about Ancient Egypt. Then, read through the PowerPoint slide by slide. Have a go at answering the questions on the 4th slide.
Maths
Today you will be learning to divide by 10. You will need to use your knowledge of multiplication and division fact families. You will also be using your knowledge of the 10 times table. Use arrays to share the amounts OR use your knowledge of the 10's to answer the questions.
Literacy
Today I would like you to finish planning your playscript. Then, with the help of an adult, have a go at completing a guided write of the first paragraph. Remember to have a look at the copy I showed you yesterday and magpie ideas from it. Also make sure you use your plan.
Friday
Reading
Today you will be reading a poem called 'My Shadow'. Follow along with the PowerPoint and complete the written task.
Maths
Today you will be completing a mathematical investigation. Attached is a worksheet where you will need to write as the numbers you come up with. Read the instructions on the worksheet. There is also an answer sheet attached which has blank abacus' on which you can use to help your working out.
Literacy
Today you need to finish writing your playscript. Then check you have included the features that you identified on Tuesday. Once you have finished, you could ask some of the people you live with to have a go at performing the playscript with you.
