Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Tuesday

Good morning.

I hope you are all well.

Let’s start with a Zumba warm up.

Reading

Today you are going to be reading some information about how to look after a fish. Do you have a fish at home? Do you think a fish makes a good pet?

Read the information and then answer the questions.

Maths

Year 1

This week we will be revising length. You will be looking at objects and identifying the longest, the shortest or the tallest. Watch the video first.

https://vimeo.com/508439670

You will need to measure objects using objects to say how long or tall something is. First you will use cubes on the worksheet then I would like you to use your hands and feet to measure objects.

Year 2

This week we are going to measure capacity. Capacity is the amount that can be held contained. When a cup is full then that is its full capacity.

Watch the video to find out about capacity then complete your learning.

Art

In geography last week we looked at the country of Australia. We looked at some landmarks and some of the animals that live there. Can you remember any?

I thought it would be good to see if we can use our art skills to draw a kangaroo. Follow the instructions on the video and then send me your fantastic kangaroos. Can’t wait to see them.
