Yesterday you gathered some words and phrases that you could include in your diary. Today I would like you to choose 6 words and then think about other words that you could use, do not look in a thesaurus think what words you know and then
1. Write down the word
2. Write down words that mean more than yours
3. Write down words that mean less than yours
Here is an example
Clutch - these two words mean I am holding more tightly
Grasp
Hold - this is my word
Clip
Touch - these two words mean I am holding less tightly.
This will give you a word bank to use in your diary writing, later in the week.
