From 1st June all lessons will be available daily at 9.30 am.

Literacy
Brown, crunchy, sweet… today we are describing the gingerbread man. Those words are called adjectives. An adjective is a word that describes a noun (the name of a thing or a place).
You can use the gingerbread man template or draw your own. Then write as many describing words inside the gingerbread man. There are some examples below. Once you have done that can you pick one or more of your adjectives and write a simple sentence. For example… the gingerbread man is crunchy and sweet. The small, tasty gingerbread man ran quickly.
Does each sentence make sense? Have you used your Fred fingers to spell words? Have you got finger spaces between your words? Are your letters well formed? Have you got a full stop at the end of each sentence?
Maths
Today we are going to start off by finding one more and one less on our number lines. Can you find 2 more and 2 less?
In Maths today we are going to be learning about heaviest and lightest. Attached below is a sheet for you to circle the superhero that is the heaviest on each set of scales. Save the superhero that weighs more than the other.
