Writing:

Yesterday we learned about conjunctions.  Conjunctions are used to link together parts of sentences.  These are going to be very important this week when we are re-telling the story of Mulan.

Today we are going to re-read Mulan, up to the part we have reached in our Reading lessons.   We are going to think about what the main events are in the story, and sequence them (put them in the order that they happened in the story).

Go to the Writing Resources at the end of this section and open up this document:

Writing – Tuesday 2.3.21-  read through the instructions.  When you get to the end, find your group activity and complete this one.

We have made a short video explaining how to complete each activity. Click on the link below and it will take you straight to it:

R.E.

In today’s lesson we are going to listen to a story from the Hindu religion it’s called Six Blind Men and an Elephant.  In this story six blind men meet in the village and try to decide what an elephant looks like.  The ruler of the village takes them to meet an elephant and they all feel a different part of the elephant so all get a different idea as to what it looks like.

Hindus tell this story to describe God, they believe that there is one god that is seen in many different ways, just like the elephant was.

Once you have listened to the story, look at the explanation and example of your task and then draw your own version of different ways that people might see you.
