Writing:

This week we are learning how to write about characters in stories.

Yesterday we explored adjectives and how they help us to describe nouns (naming words). Today, we are going to learn how to use adjectives to describe a character’s appearance (what they look like).

We have made a video lesson to guide you through the activity: Click on the link below to take you to it:

Maths

Today in Maths we are once again looking at money, each group has a PowerPoint which I have talked through then a set of matching questions.

R.E.

This week in RE, we are going to be thinking about life as a journey and some of the obstacles we encounter along the way and how we deal with them.

Ask your adult to read  the underlined paragraph and help you with this part.

Use the quotation ‘Life is like a box of chocolates’ and put it on a piece of paper. Work with your child to create new  phrases using the sentence opener 'Life is like...'.

Share your ideas with your adult and ask them for their own thoughts.

Do you both agree with each other? Why?

 Do you both disagree? Why?

Most religions tend to view life as a journey.

Find a quiet place and think about your life so far.

What have been the high points and the low points?

How could your journey be represented on paper?

I would like you to draw and decorate your own journey of life on the map provided or just a plain piece of paper if you do not have a printer.

Remember to send these to our email address so that I can see them.
