Tuesday 10th November 2020

Rise and shine guys, let’s get moving with this lovely song, one of my favourites that is for sure! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GeYONw5DMo

For today’s learning we have…

RWI

Click on the link for Set 1 sounds.

There is also “Storytime with Nick” and some poems that your child can learn and perform.

Handwriting:

Today we are practising the letter ‘x’. Remember lead in, down the tall tower to the steps, cross the tower.

Literacy

This week we are going to be becoming authors and writing our own story. Look at the pictures of the ‘wounded wolf’ Can you order the pictures today? Think about who the characters are and what they are doing, what happens first? Next and last?

Maths

G/Y/R/O groups:

This week we are learning to order numbers. You can use the 100 square to help you. Say the numbers, which is the smallest? Write this number on the red line, what is the next smallest? Write the numbers from smallest to biggest.

Blue group:

Let’s warm up by practising the days of the week song by clicking on this link:

Today you are practising careful counting. First trace over the numbers, then count the pictures carefully write the total.

Art

This term we have been learning about tone, last week we learnt about sketching and making a 2D object look 3D. Today I want you to look at pictures of the plants. Choose a planet, draw round a plate and using crayons to shade the planet in. You need to use dark around the edges and lighter in the middle.
