Literacy

Today we have attached a summer holiday hopes worksheet. It asks you to think about some of things you would like to do over the summer holidays. What would you like to eat? What would you like to learn? Write sentences to answer each question in the right box.

Does each sentence make sense? Have you used your Fred fingers to spell words? Have you got finger spaces between your words? Are your letters well formed? Have you got a full stop at the end of each sentence? Is your writing clear and readable?

Don’t forget to make sure the letters you write are clear. Have you remembered your finger spaces between each word? Our aim is that everyone can read our fabulous writing so make sure it’s readable.

Maths

This week we are working through our maths summer booklet as it is the last week before we break up for the summer holidays. The next activity we are going to complete is the roll and colour on page 6. If you do not have a dice you can use a number generator to 6 on the internet.

Topic

Today we are going to play pairs, attached is a game with pictures on. Cut out the pictures and mix them around. Place them upside down on the table/floor. One at a time pick up 2 cards, you need to try and get two the same. If you don't get two the same put them back down in the same place and try to remember where they are. If you get two the same you win those cars. The person with the most cards at the end is the winner.
