Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Thursday

We are nearly at the end of the week.  I hope you are all well.

Thank you for sending me your work.

Let’s start the day and warm up.

Reading

Year 1

Today you are going to be reading a short text called The New Pet. Read the story carefully and then answer the questions. Remember to answer in complete sentences.

Ms Ellson’s group

Today you are going to rad another non-fiction text and it is all about honey bees. Do you know anything about them? Read the information and then answer the questions.

Maths

Year 1

Today we are going to be learning about weight and mass.

We use a ruler to measure length. Do you know what we use to measure weight?

Mass is the amount of matter something contains. The more matter something has the more it weighs. For example an elephant has more matter in it than a mouse so its mass is heavier.

Today there are 2 videos to watch. When you have finished complete your learning.

This year we have looked at three poems by Robert Louis Stevenson. I would like you to look at these poems again. Can you remember what they were about?

What is the same about them?

Which one is your favourite? Today I would like you to pick your favourite and write a review. I can’t wait to see which poem you preferred.

The Swing

A good play

At the seaside.

Music

Today you are going to explore different ways of using your voice.

You are going to join Ms Glover to complete this lesson. You will need a teddy or a toy.
