Hello Reception! It's Thoughtful Thursday so let's start ourselves off with some mindful breathing by joining in with this melting activity.
As always, please send your work to our class email: carle@greenfield.walsall.sch.uk
To warm ourselves up today, we are going to pretend to be a superhero with this one, are you ready? Superhero’s unite!
Your RML lesson will be available at 9:30am on the Ruth Miskin YouTube channel, as usual: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ
Can you think of a word that ends with one of the sounds that you've looked at this week?
This week we have been reading the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Do you remember what happens? Watch the clip below to see if you have remembered it all.
Today we would like you to write the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, we’ve attached a word mat for you to use but remember to:
For our maths today, we are going to be counting to 20. Last week, in class we learnt how to recognise and write numbers to 20. To refresh our brains; watch the clip below to count to 20.
Today we are going to carefully count amounts to 20 and find missing numbers. First watch this clip below to see today’s learning: https://vimeo.com/528918835
Now we want you to look at the numbers below and then order the numbers. Try turning over 3 cards with numbers 11-20 on them and ordering them.
Today we are going to learn about how to eat a healthy, balanced diet. In this lesson with Miss Hughes, we learn the importance of a healthy diet. We learn about the importance of different food groups and end the lesson by designing a plate of healthy food.
Now we want you to sort the food from the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar in to food that is good or bad.
