Yesterday we continued reading the story of Aladdin. We reached the part where Aladdin has tricked Jafar into becoming a Genie trapped in a lamp! Today we are going to finish the story.!

This week we have continued to develop our writing skills using the story of Aladdin.
Yesterday we practised how to plan our writing of a build-up to a story. Today we are going to write our build-up to Aladdin, guided by the online lesson below.

Maths
Green/Yellow/Orange-
Today in Maths, you will be learning to multiply 2-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers but this time with some exchanging.
Below is the link to a video, as exchanging is a new piece of learning I would like you to answer the questions on the video for today’s learning. Make sure you pause the video to allow yourself time to work out the answers and then mark them as you go along. Always go back and re-watch the parts where you got the answer wrong or found it difficult.

Red-
Today in Maths, you will be learning to divide by 4, the PowerPoint will guide you through then have a go at the questions.
Blue
Today in Maths, you will continue with your subtractions crossing 10s.

Design & Technology
Today we are going to begin a DT project that will continue into our next lesson in a couple of weeks time.
The focus of this DT project is to look at recycling plastic and its uses.
Read through the PowerPoint to get some background information.
Your task is explained in detail on the PowerPoint. You will be designing a product using recycled plastic. We have designed items/objects before in DT, so you should know what you are doing in this context.
