Introduction

Use this clip to remind you about synonyms and antonyms.

Today we are going to look in more depth at the character of Macbeth.

Disclaimer: Please note that this lesson uses film clips, some aspects of the clips shown have blood and gore, which some children might find disturbing.

In this lesson, we will use the film clips from Shakespeare's Animated Tales to make deductions about Macbeth's character and how he changes over the course of the play. We will then generate adjectives appropriate to his character at different points in the play.

Green and Yellow - As you watch the video pause and complete the sentences as you go along, for each adjective you use challenge yourself to think of two synonyms.

Orange and Red - As you watch the video pause and complete the sentences as you go along, for each adjective you use challenge yourself to think of a synonym.
