Today we are practising the letter ‘v’. Remember lead in, stop, down the vulture’s wing, up the other wing.

 

Literacy

Today we are going to write the diary entry by pretending to be Little Red Riding Hood. Use your plan from yesterday. Remember…

  • Full stops
  • Finger spaces
  • Read your sentences back
  • Try to include the word ‘and’ to make your sentences longer.

 

Maths

Our warm up this morning is to match the words to the numbers, remember to Fred talk carefully.

Today we are going to carry on our learning with tens and ones. Can you draw the tens and ones in to the boxes to partition the numbers?

 

Blue group:

Today we are going to be thinking more about our numbers to 10. We are going to first put the numbers in order, then match the amounts to the numbers. Lastly, can you match the word to the number?

 

History

Today we are going to find out about a famous event that happened over 400 years ago. It was called The Gunpowder Plot. Have you heard of this or know anything about what it was?

Go through the power point – summary of what it was, what are the houses of parliament? What was the plot itself and what artefacts give us clues as to what happened?
