Yesterday we continued reading  Beauty and the Beast. We reached the part where the Beast is weak and fading, and Bella realises how much she cares for him.

Writing:

Yesterday we learned how to write an exciting opening to a story when we re-tell it.  We do this so that the person reading our story is interested and wants to read more!

Today we are going to carry on writing our re-telling of Beauty and the Beast. We are going to learn how to write an exciting build-up to the main event of the story (when Bella goes to live with the Beast).

Maths:

This week in Maths we have been practising our addition skills. Today we are going to learn how to solve word problems with addition.
