Thursday
Morning Carle Class. Hope you’re having a good week. We are enjoying this topic at school so hope you are as well!
RWI
Remember to practise your sounds daily. RWI will be holding daily virtual lessons for children to practise their sounds.
From 1st June all lessons will be available daily at 9.30 am.
Se1 1, 2 and 3 speed sound lessons will restart.
Set 2 speed sound lessons will include new words for reading and spelling.
Literacy
Carrying on with transition. Let’s think about what our favourite activity or learning has been this year? Can you think about some of the things you have learnt to do or some of the topics we have covered? What about the Christmas performance or when we had a princes visit the classroom! Write some sentences to tell us what your favourite activity has been. It could be as simple as getting to use the Lego!
Don’t forget each sentence should start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. Have you used your Fred fingers to spell words? Have you got finger spaces between your words?
Maths
This week in maths we are going to learn about numbers to 20. Start off by counting forwards and backwards to 20, if you can go higher keep going. You can use a number line to help you with number recognition too.
On pages 9 and 10 in your maths booklet is colour by numbers. You can help your children with reading the colours but they must try to recognise the numerals on their own.
Finish off our maths learning by playing our ordering number game.

We are having a little social distancing party in our bubbles. Why don't you have one with your bubble? We are playing musical statues and dancing on go noodle. We have also bought in our own food to eat, what are you having nice?
