Greenfield Primary School

Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Thursday 11th February

Have an amazing Thursday! We hope you you are having a fun week with lots of learning.

Let's take a look at your wonderful learning from yesterday?

Can you spot your work?

Lets wake ourselves up on this Thursday morning.

Lets watch Koo Koo Kangaroo, today is all about milkshake.

Phonics

Yesterday we sang a song all about the sound "p"

We would love if you could have a look around your house and find something that begins with the sound "p".

Story time

Let's watch the story again. Who was the "bad" character in the story?

Can you tell your grown up?

Yes that's right it was the wolf.

Expressive Art and Design.

Today we would love it if you could make a paper plate wolf.

You will need a paper plate, some brown or grey paint and brown paper if you have some, and some scissors.

Paint your paper plate brown or grey.

Next cut out two triangles for the wolf's ears

Make a long nose and some sharp teeth for your wolf.

If you do not have a paper plate you could cut out a paper circle.

When you have finished making your wolf you could hold it up and pretend to be the wolf in the story.

You could practise saying

"Little pig little pig let me come in."

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down."

Maths

Today your task is to build a tower using three items.

These can be bricks or anything at all that you may have at home that you can build a tower with.

1.  Are your towers all the same height?

2.  Can you say which is your tallest tower?

3.  Can you say which is the shortest tower?
