Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Thursday

It's Thoughtful Thursday!

Hello Reception! It's Thoughtful Thursday so let's start ourselves off with some mindful breathing by joining in with this melting activity.

As always, please send your work to our class email: carle@greenfield.walsall.sch.uk

Get Moving!

To warm ourselves up today, we are going to pretend to be a superhero with this one, are you ready? Superhero’s unite!

RML:

Your RML lesson will be available at 9:30am on the Ruth Miskin YouTube channel, as usual: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ

Can you think of a word that ends with one of the sounds that you've looked at this week?

Literacy:

This week we are going to be reading the story of the Little Red Hen.

This week we have been learning about how we make bread. Can you remember? Here it is if you need to be reminded.

Today we would like you to write the method for making bread. Remember to number the instructions and clap your sentences first.

Maths:

For today’s maths learning we are going to be combing two groups by carefully counting. Click on the link below to start:

Today’s task is about careful counting groups of things. Click on the work task below to start counting the different groups.

Winter:

Today we are going to be learning about the season we are currently in. Last season was Autumn, now it is Winter, do you know what season comes next? In this lesson, we join Mrs Garrard to identify things that we can see outside in winter. We will think about the colours of the season and create a drawing of things that we can see on a winter walk. You could extend this lesson by comparing seasons, the things you might see outside and the colours you might use to represent each season.
