Reading and Guided Reading
Today is when we have guided reading as well as reading during RWI. I have included two comprehension exercises for you to complete. One is a fiction and one is non-fiction. Read them carefully and then answer the questions. I have included the answers so you can check your work when you have finished.
Maths
Today we are going to carry on our learning about fractions. We are going to be recognising a half and finding a half. Watch the 2 videos and then complete the worksheet.
Spelling
Today we are going to investigate words where the a is making an “or” sound.
Complete the worksheet to sort the words. Look carefully to see how they are spelt. Can you think what the spelling rule will be? We will come back to this later in the week.
Martin Luther King Today we are going to look at another significant person from History. His name is Martin Luther King and he was born over 90 years ago.
