Good morning Ahlberg class. I hope you have all had a good Easter, I saw some photos of you painting Easter pictures, finding your hidden eggs and even saw that some of you had an egg and spoon race.
Let’s start off by moving, moving … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziLHZeKbMUo
For today’s learning we have…
Remember to practise your sounds daily. RWI will be holding daily virtual lessons for children to practise their sounds:
Set 1 sounds at 9:30am or 12:30pm
Set 2 sounds at 10:00am or 1:00pm
Set 3 sounds at 10:30am or 1:30pm
I have attached a SPaG mat below for you to complete.
Here is a link to practise your spellings, we are on the 2 light blue (seventh and eighth) bird boxes today. https://www.ictgames.com/littleBirdSpelling/
Today I would like you to practise using adjectives in your writing. An adjective is a word that describes an animal, person or thing. Adjectives include words that describe what something looks like and what it feels like to touch, taste, or smell. Adjectives can be colours and words that describe temperatures and sizes.
Watch this video about adjectives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2vgjNoE4Xs
Once you have done this you can complete your learning on adjectives that I’ve attached below, blue group you have a different worksheet.
For our maths warm up let’s test those brains with our number bonds to 10: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button
Press the number that you need to add to the one at the top to make 10.
G/Y/R/O groups: Your learning for today is multiplication, this means we are going to count using our 2s, 5s and 10s. Use the power point that I’ve created to show you what I want you to do, see if you can get the answers right, then try the worksheet.
Remember to practise your times tables with Times Tables Rock Stars.
Blue group let’s start off by counting to 20: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VLxWIHRD4E
Your learning today is counting in 2s. See the worksheet attached, remember to count carefully.
This week we are going to be focusing on materials. When you look around your house, can you tell me what things are made from? Your worksheet is attached. If you don’t have a printer then create a table with list of things in your house and tell me what material they are made from or draw a picture and label the objects and what material they are made from.
