Monday

Happy Monday Ahlberg class, I hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend! Welcome back to our learning.

Let’s get our bodies moving with a Boom Chicka Boom dance!  Click here.

For today’s learning we have…

RWI

One lesson will show at 9.30am each day and be available for 24 hours.

If you are in Mrs Daniel’s RML group you will need to watch set 1. If you are in Ms Ellson’s or Mrs Riley’s RML group you will need to watch the Set 2 Speed sounds, word time and spelling videos. You should watch these every day.

I have attached the link here.

Maths

Today our learning is about 3D shapes which are fat shapes.

Click here to complete your warm-up and see your learning.

Can you see any around you?

Practise the 3D shape poem at the top of the worksheet and try adding your own actions.

I would like you to complete the worksheet where you will match the 3D shape with the correct name and then go on to the challenge.

Blue group:

Read the shape poem above with your grown up. Practise the 3D shape poem and try adding your own actions.

Now, it is time to go on an adventure and hunt for 3d shapes around your house or garden.

Science

Last week we looked at the human body and at the different body parts.

Do you remember the different groups of animals from last term? There is another way to group animals; by what they eat. Watch this clip to see the 3 different groups.

Go through the PowerPoint to recap each group.

For your activity, I would like you group the animals into Herbivores, Carnivores and Omnivores. I want you to match the animals from the sorting cards to the posters which will be Herbivores, Carnivores or Omnivores.

Blue Group:

I would like you to match your animal to what it eats and stick them to the worksheet. On one side I would like you to cut and stick the animal down and on the other side I would like you to stick down what they eat.

Challenge; label teeth

Recap what each group is, what is an example of an animal in this group? What kind of teeth would they have?

Blue Group: Can you sort the animal cards out so the animals match what they eat.
