This week we are going to be reading the story of Aladdin.

 

This is going to help us with our Writing/SPAG learning as well, as we are going to retell the opening to Aladdin.

 

Open up Monday’s Reading powerpoint and listen to the instructions - they will guide you through the activities you are going to do when you have read today’s pages.

 

We are following the Reciprocal reading pattern of:

History

 

Today we are going to begin learning about the Vikings. We learnt a little about the Vikings in our last lesson on the Anglo-Saxons. 

 

The Anglo-Saxons first arrived in Britain in 449CE and then the Viking invasion began in 787CE. 

 

Have a read through the PowerPoint that is attached and on the final slide, you have some questions to answer. Embedded in the PowerPoint are links to some teaching videos. If you cannot access them from the PowerPoint then they are copied below.
