Handwriting:

Today we are practising the letter ‘s’. Remember lead in, stop, slither down the snake.

 

Literacy

Recap our previous learning; a noun is a naming word like ball, pencil, cloth. An adjective is a describing word like blue, big, soft.

Today we are going to be learning about verbs. A verb is a doing word; run, clap, jump. These are things you can do. In our colourful sentences the verbs are usually in yellow.

Create your sentences using verbs and then write your sentences.

 

Maths

G/Y/O/R groups:

Today we are going to be counting forwards and backwards to 20. First let’s warm our brains up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTeUqWGCKjA  

Now we need to fill in the missing number tracks, using pictures, words and numbers.

 

Blue group:

Today you are going to recap our numbers to 10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR-cfDsHCGA

Today you are going to count objects around your house. Count out objects up to 10. Maybe your adult could put some objects on the floor and you could count them carefully. Remember touch as you count.

 

Phonics

Green & Yellow groups: Using your set 2 sounds read and write the words then use one of these words to write a sentence.

Red & Orange groups: Fred talk carefully and use your Fred fingers to spell words using special friends ‘ck’.

Blue group: This afternoon we are going to think about initial sounds. Say what is in the picture and circle the sound you can hear.
