RWI

Handwriting:
Today we are practising the letter q. Remember lead in, stop, round the queen’s face, down and flick.
Literacy
Recap our previous learning; a noun is a naming word like ball, pencil, cloth. An adjective is a describing word like blue, big, soft.
Today we are going to look at the picture, match the adjective and noun picture and then use of Fred fingers to spell these words.
Maths
This morning we have a maths warm up to get our brains working, try to complete this independently.
G/Y/O/R groups:
This week we are going to be learning about take away, Through our part-part model. You can use counters, draw dots or use sweets to act these out. Start with the whole amount and take way the part that is shown to find out the missing part.

Today you are going to count the fruit carefully and match them to the number.
Challenge: to order the acorns by size.

This afternoon we are going to think about initial sounds. Say what is in the picture and circle the sound you can hear.
