Maths

Green - Today, you are recapping previous learning to divide 2 digits by 1 digit.

Here is the link to a video that will teach you everything you need to know for this lesson, just as I would teach you in class: https://vimeo.com/492601303

After you have watched the video, have a go at answering the questions on the attached worksheet. Afterwards, you can mark your answers and ask a grown up to go through any mistakes you made that you don’t know how to correct.

Attached is a true or false for you to answer. Work through it and explain your answers. This is just a discussion to have with somebody else you do not need to write anything down.

ROY - Today, you are learning to multiply by 8. Before you do this, it is important you practise your 8 x table, as you will need to use this to help you find the answer. Write out the 8 x table before we begin e.g.

1 x 8 = 8

2 x 8 = 16 etc up to 12 x 8.

History

Today we are going to begin learning about the Vikings. We learnt a little about the Vikings in our last lesson on the Anglo-Saxons.

The Anglo-Saxons first arrived in Britain in 449CE and then the Viking invasion began in 787CE.

Have a read through the PowerPoint that is attached and on the final slide, you have some questions to answer. Embedded in the PowerPoint are links to some teaching videos. If you cannot access them from the PowerPoint, then they are copied below.
