Good Morning.
Today is the start of our final week of being in Year 3.
We are going to have to make sure that this week is the best one yet because it is our last one together before you move up to Year 4 and have a new teacher next year.
I hope you have a super day today!
Stay safe and smiley,
Miss Sharpe.
P.S. Remember, please email me to send over your super work or just to say 'hello.' Miss you all lots!
Reciprocal Reading
Today you are going to begin reading chapter 15 of Nim’s Island.
Once you have read today’s pages, I would like you to write a prediction - Why do you think Nim thought that Alex Rover might not be good at rock climbing? Use what we have read in previous pages and chapters.
Grammar
Today, we are going to be recapping grammar, punctuation and spelling skills we have learnt. I would like you to click on your groups sheet and have a go at the SPaG revision/recap mat. You may do this on paper if you do not have a printer.
Maths
Today you are going to continue revising the topics we have covered so that you remember everything ready for Year 4 learning. There are 2 revision mats that I would like you to have a go at. Remember, this is all learning that we have covered in class so you should understand the concepts. If you don’t have a printer, write the answers on a piece of paper with the question number in the margin.
Spelling CEW
This week, I would like you to use the words you have been tested on for your common exception words quiz - this was part of your spellings on 29th May. Choose another 6 words from spellings that you didn’t spell correctly and have a go at practising them using the pyramid method that we have used before.
Challenge: Use 3 of these words in sentences. Be sure they are being used in the correct context.
