Reciprocal Reading

 

Today, you will be reading a non-fiction text about British Mammals. Your written task is SATs Style Questions which will be attached below according to your group. The text is attached below.

 

Here is the order we usually follow in class for Reciprocal Reading:

  • Predict (sensible guess)

  • Read the pages

  • Clarify the meaning of words you didn’t know 

  • Answer the questions

  • Summarise

Writing

 

Today, you will finish writing your own version of the story of how Mr Fox and Mrs Fox met. Use yesterday's S Plan to finish your last few paragraphs ensuring you include all of the elements we learnt about in school.

Maths

 

ROY - Today, you are going to be learning about right angles in shapes and comparing angles.

After you have watched the videos, have a go at answering the questions on the attached worksheet. Afterwards, you can mark your answers and ask a grown up to go through any mistakes you made that you don’t know how to correct.

 

Green - Today, you are going to be learning identify angles.

Blue - Today I would like you to go on a scavenger hunt around your home. For this, you will need your knowledge of shape. I would like you to find me as many shapes around your house that have 1 side (circular), 3 sides (triangular) and 4 sides (quadrilaterals). Write the items down on a piece of paper.

PSHE

 

Today, you are going to be learning about looking after your wellbeing. Attached is a PowerPoint that you can read through with a grown up. After you have read through this. Have a go at the 2 attached sheets, you can print them out or record your work on paper. Your network is the people around you that you trust and that care for you.
