Good morning. Here is your learning for today.
Reading
Today you will be reading a story about the bear who came to babysit! Read the story and then answer the questions. There are 3 question sheets. Try the 3-star sheet today. You will find the stars at the bottom of each question sheet. The answers are also included so you can check after you have finished your work.
Maths
Today we are going to revise our learning from yesterday about making equal parts. Click the link to remind yourself about our learning and then complete the worksheet.
Writing
Today you are going to write a report about Winnie-the Pooh with the notes you have made from this week.
Your report needs to have a title and headings. Look at the non-chronological report about Pigs to see how to set your report out.
Think about how you are going to turn your notes into sentences that are going to interest the reader.
A report has an introduction which tells the reader a bit about what they are going to read.
I’m going to start my report with a question.
Winnie-the-Pooh
Have you ever heard of Winnie-the-Pooh? He is a famous fictional bear that lives in Hundred Acre Wood.
Now you are going to write your report.
The headings are:
A A Milne
Pooh Bear
The Hundred Acre Wood
You can either use the writing frame I have attached or write your report on your own paper. I have also included the notes I have made from this week and a report help sheet.
I can’t wait to read all about Winnie-the Pooh!
Art
This afternoon I would like you to see if you can follow the instructions to draw your very own Winnie-the-pooh!
Watch the video to see how. Don’t forget to send your pictures to me on the class email.
