Reading

Today, you must read on from where you left off yesterday, to the end of Chapter 1 of The Iron Man. Work through the PowerPoint and complete the written task. 

Here is the order we usually follow in class for Reciprocal Reading:

• Predict (sensible guess)

• Read the pages

• Clarify the meaning of words you didn’t know 

• Answer the questions

• Summarise

Maths

Today, you will be learning to use written methods for multiplication. This will require you to use your knowledge of partitioning numbers to find the answer.

Attached is a PowerPoint to work through and a question sheet for you to have a go at independently.

You also have an answer sheet so that you can check your answers afterwards.

Literacy

Today, your task is to use what you have learnt this week to write a character description of the Iron Man.

Remember you must describe both his appearance and personality.
