Today's sound is the 'ou' sound.

Have a piece of paper to write your spellings on.
For your maths learning today you will continue comparing two amounts. This time the amounts are in lengths.
If you were comparing 6cm and 2cm and finding the difference between them you could count backwards from 6 until you reach 2.
(6), 5, 4, 3, 2 This was 4 jumps backwards so the difference is 4cm.
For your spelling learning this week you are going to learn how to spell words using 'ay' and 'ai'.
I have put some learn screens and activities on Education City for you to have a go at.
This afternoon we are learning to think about the effect our behaviour has on other people whether it is a good behaviour choice or a poor behaviour choice. We will also think about how we feel knowing that other people feel this way because of our choices.
Think about some things you do that are good choices.
How do you think the people around you at home and school feel when you choose these good choices?
Now think about a poor behaviour choice you may have made.
How do you think this choice makes people at home and school feel?
Fill in the worksheet below (or on your own paper at home) drawing 3 pictures.
The first picture: your behaviour choice.
The second picture: how this may have made others feel (this could be a face)
The third picture: how it makes you feel (this also could be just a face)
