# Friday

## Good morning Troughton class!

It's Friday again! I hope you have enjoyed this week's learning. Have you got any nice plans for the weekend? Hopefully the sun will be shining.  Have a lovely weekend and well done for all the super learning you have completed this week!
Remember you can send emails with picture of your learning to me or you can email just to say hello at: troughton@greenfield.walsall.sch.uk

Today is the final day I will be sharing the large 3 story document...don't worry if you don't finish you can always come back to this week's learning to find the link.

Which story have you enjoyed the most and why?

## Maths: Red, Orange, Yellow and Green groups

Our learning today is all about the number of faces on a 3D shape.

To remind yourself of what a face is, watch this video:

Again, if you can find some objects in your home that are the same shape that could help you with this learning.
Cylinder – can
Cuboid – Cereal box
Cube – Tissue cube

Complete the worksheet below.

Challenge: Can you solve the riddles?

## Maths: Blue group

Today you will be learning more about equal groups.

I want you to complete the groups by making sure there are equal amounts in each, count the groups to check.

Use your knowledge of counting in 2s & 5s to count how many are in each group.

## Literacy: All groups

Watch Traction Man carefully then answer the questions.

Try to answer the questions in complete sentences.

## Computing

This week we are going to learn about the internet. Since you have all been learning at home, you have been using the internet a lot but what is the internet? Watch this clip to find out and look at all of the things that use the internet to work.

Then click on this link below, to see how we can use the internet for our learning.
I want you to make a poster that looks like a tablet or a computer and has all of the pictures for the different ways we use the internet.
I look forward to seeing your posters.

## P.E

For PE this week we are going to be learning how to move with a ball and shoot a ball, some of you may already know how to do this, which is great, it’ll mean you’ll be brilliant at these games.

All you need is a football.

Ask others in your household to play a game with you too. You don’t have to do all the games but give a few ago. Let me know how you get on.

If you don't have a ball at home, try some of these dances:
