Writing:

Yesterday we learned how to write the build-up of the story of Beauty and the Beast.  Now that we have finished reading the story, we are going to learn how to write the resolution (ending) of a story.

Go to the Writing Resources at the end of this section and open up this document:

Writing – Friday 19.3.21-  read through the instructions which will guide you through how to write the ending to a story.  When you get to the end, find your group activity and complete this one.

Maths:

Today we are going to apply all of our number skills we have been practising this week and last week .  Open up Education City and complete the warm-up activities to get you ready!

Then open up the document in the resource box below:

DT:

Last DT lesson, we designed and built a structure for a bridge, to test if it was fit for purpose.  Can it stay standing with weight on it? Can it carry a toy car from one side to the other?

Today we are going to evaluate how well they worked!

Open up the activity in the resource section below.

Design and label your bridge - what materials could you build your model from?

If you can, build it and test it out! If not, predict how well it would work and why.  What would help it to stay in place? What might cause it to collapse?
