Greenfield Primary School

Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Friday 17th July

The time has come to say goodbye,

Each day has been filled with fun,

Always extremely busy,

But our time together is done.

We have read such a lot of stories,

And sang many a different song,

From start to finish, so many different weeks,

What an adventure we’ve come along.

Going home covered in paint,

Or being top to toe in mud,

The endless choice of activities,

Has simply been so good.

But now the time has come,

We really must say goodbye,

On to your next adventure,

We hope you enjoy Year 1!

Happy Friday Carle class. It is your last day in Reception and we will miss you lots. You have worked so hard during this tricky time and we are so proud of you. We wish we could have seen you all before you went into Year 1 but we know you will be superstars. You have been an amazing class of children and we have told your new teachers all about you. Have a fantastic summer and we will see you in school in September. Remember to keep safe and keep smiling! Parents thank you for all of your kind words and support during this time. We are so grateful for your support this year.

Mrs Evans, Miss Pegler, Mrs Sheldon, Miss Fellows, Miss Howship and Mrs Ferguson.

Literacy

Last one of the year! Today we want you to make a guide for the new children starting Reception in September. What do they need to know? What is important for them to remember? What rules or routines do you think would help them? You could make it as a poster or leaflet.
