Fabulous Friday! Another week of wonderful learning completed. Well done for sticking with it. We know learning at home has many challenges so remember to just try your best. Have a lovely weekend J
Today we have attached a read and colour literacy comprehension sheet. Read the sentence and then follow the instructions to colour the picture. If you find that easy can you write your own instructions? Draw a picture and write how you want it coloured.
Lets start off our maths with finding one more and one less of a number on their number lines.
Today the children are going to try to complete this odd and even sheet independently (page 3 of the booklet). Model the first question with your child and discuss how you got that answer. Allow your child to complete the next one on their own and see how they get on. If they need support talk through how to work it out but still allow the children to physically complete the sheet.
Lets finish off our maths with ordering and reading all numbers to 20 but this time mixed up. For example, 4,9,14. Can the children read the three numbers and can they put the numbers in order?
Have some Friday fun. We have attached some science experiments involving water. Try on or a few a let us know what you find out!
Listen and enjoy 'Winnie and Wilbur under the sea'
