Maths

Green - Today, you are learning to count in fractions.

Here is the link to a video that will teach you everything you need to know for this lesson, just as I would teach you in class: Spr4.6.5 - Count in fractions on Vimeo

After you have watched the video, have a go at answering the questions on the attached worksheet. Afterwards, you can mark your answers and ask a grown up to go through any mistakes you made that you don’t know how to correct.

Attached is a true or false for you to answer. Work through it and explain your answers. This is just a discussion to have with somebody else, you do not need to write anything down.

ROY - Today, you are going to be learning to find a quarter.

In the fraction ¼, the number 4 is the denominator (bottom number) because when an object/shape/amount is split into quarters, there are 4 equal parts.

Have a go at answering the questions on the attached worksheet. Afterwards, you can mark your answers and ask a grown up to go through any mistakes you made that you don’t know how to correct.

Blue - Today you are going to be testing your place value knowledge with numbers to 50. Attached is a sheet with different representations for numbers to 50. You only need to answer the sheets with 1 star at the bottom.

Identify what number is being represented by looking how many tens and ones are in the number. When you are finished, ask a grown up to mark the answers for you.

PE

Today, I would like you to complete Joe Wicks most recent ‘PE with Joe’. Here is a link to Joe’s YouTube playlist for PE with Joe:
