Imagine, Believe, Succeed

Friday

It's Fabulous Friday!

Good Morning Reception! We've made it to the end of another week of home learning. You and your grownups are all doing a fantastic job and we are so proud of you!

Please drop us an email to carle@greenfield.walsall.sch.uk - we love to see pictures of your fantastic learning!

Get Moving!

We are going to get ourselves ready for our learning by joining in with one of Mrs Evans’ favourite songs, footloose!

RML:

Don't forget your last RML lesson of this week! Access it at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ

We have seen some absolutely amazing pieces of work that you have done during phonics this week! Could you send us some today?

Literacy:

We are going to end this week by learning 1 more nursery rhyme. Can you remember the ones you’ve learnt so far? Today’s is called ‘if you’re happy and you know it’.

Throughout the lockdowns across the world, the rainbow has been something that has brought happiness. What makes you happy? How could you spread the happiness? What could you do to make others happy? I’ve attached a worksheet where you can write these sentences and colour in the rainbows.

Maths:

For our maths learning today we are going to be counting groups of amounts to 5. Click the link below to start today’s learning:

Your task today is going to be to use your teddies, or the frogs on the worksheet below and put them in three different groups. Count how many you have in each group and then count how many you have altogether. Remember careful counting means you have to touch the thing as you count it.

PSHE:

In today’s lesson, we will gain a better understanding of what social distancing means and the importance of it, especially relating to the reopening of schools. We will listen to a story that explains the need for space and how it helps to keep us safe within the current climate. From this, pupils will create their own safety spot.
