In the past (such as in Anglo-Saxon times) riddles were used as a large part of family and community fun. One particular type of riddle is a Kennings poem, we will be looking at theses and writing our own over Thursday and Friday.
Today I would like you to look at the riddle below and work out what animals are being described and then try to write two of your own.
