Imagine, Believe, Succeed

English

Bob has come across all sorts of animals at the zoo and through the week we are going to look at different ways to describe them.

Today your task is to look at collective nouns; a collective noun is the name that is given for a group of things. Example - A group of wolves is known as a pack.

Task - Find out the collective nouns for the following zoo animals (plus any others that you like) and write sentences to include each word.

Giraffe

Hippo

Baboon

Elephant

Tiger

Panda

Lion

Penguin

Example sentence: The pack of wolves ran for miles to wear down their prey.
