At Greenfield School Football Skills are taught throughout our Games options of P.E at both Key Stage One and Two.
Greenfield run boys and girls school teams which play in the Walsall Schools Football League. We also take part in Year Three and Four Football Competitions for boys and girls that are organised during the year. Greenfield has a long history of success in these competitions having won all of the competitions for both boys and girls at both indoor and outdoor level. We have also represented Walsall in regional tournaments.
Greenfield also run our own intra school football league with teams from Year Four, Five, Six and a Girls team taking part. This league runs parallel to the Walsall Schools League matches.
A page dedicated to the boys and girls teams can be found on the homepage of this site. The page carries team photographs, match reports and results from all games played during the season. The page is updated after every fixture played.
Through curriculum time and after school clubs the children take part in the English Schools Football Association Awards Scheme at Level One to Five. Children in Year Six, during their last term can be selected for Merit Awards.
A full set of criteria for each level of the awards scheme is listed in the files below.
