Kwik Cricket Award Scheme Certificates At Gold, and Bronze Level.

Cricket skills are taught through our school curriculum to Years Four, Five and Six. At Primary school children play Kwik Cricket with plastic bats, a soft ball and adapted rules.

Greenfield run cricket activities after school throughout the school year. From April to October cricket club runs outdoors and is skills and match based. During October to March we run and Indoor Cricket league. This intra school competition is played in our school hall over 32 overs a night. The theme for each season is chosen by the children. In past seasons we have had Harry Potter, Big Cats and World War 11 planes as our team names.

During the Summer, Greenfield enter the Walsall Schools Competions for both boys and girls. We also arrange friendly matches with other schools. We have been fortunate to be able to play these matches  at Pelsall Cricket Club as we have been a partner school of theirs for several seasons.

For the season beginning April 2015, all of our matches have been played on our Flicx Outdoor Cricket wicket. This was purchased using Sports Premium Funding.

A page dedicated to the boys and girls Kwik Cricket  teams can be found on the homepage of this site. The page carries team photographs, match reports and results from all games played during the season The page also contains the results and table from the School Indoor Cricket League. The page is updated after every fixture played.

The children are able  to  take part in the Kwik Cricket Awards Scheme during their P.E lessons or through the after school club. A full list of the challenges needed to be met for each award is listed below.
